Isola: Pg 2 preview

New page, new face page 2!

I was supposed to have two sketches of the line up done today but alas, I am beat. It took me all day to do this page, plus some distractions (no thanks to Final Fantasy 13). I'm still a little ahead of the game but I need to get sketching on more pages if I'm going to keep up!

Isola: Pg 1 preview

Preview of what's to come, yeah? From the header, you can tell that the comic is no longer called Memento. I swear it started to write and change itself to the point where the original Memento storyline just didn't fit anymore. It turned out better!

So now, it's called Isola.

But what exactly is Isola...? You'll have to wait and see! More previews later. Also, I need to do a new line up of the cast. For reference of course but it's fun to do those too. Annie's gone through a minor change. She won't be wearing those baggy overalls anymore. =D Can't wait to show what she's sporting now!

Okay time for bed. Work tomorrow and I hope I can get more done. I'm a few pages sketched into the beginning. It's time to go, go, go!

Memento no more?

More soon, hopefully this weekend. With so many changes for this story...I doubt it'll be called "Memento" anymore. We'll see. :)

30 minute things

I'm getting faster with drawings. Which is good cos I have to make up for lost time over the week (work) and free time during week nights (fatiiiiigue). So second character in Memento that's replacing Michael is:
Prince Saron. These were the warm ups, I was trying to figure out what he looked like in my head. I really wanted him to have the curly hair, but in the end that design didn't make it. Maybe I'll use that for someone else...I think I will! Saron's finally design came out totally different, not to mention now he looks much younger.I only had 30 minutes to do these, but I'm going to go back and refine/color these along with Annie's. Saron's character I'm still trying to figure out. He's the spoiled and charming type but I kind of want him to not be serious or not to be taken seriously. Also I wanted him to be around Annie's age.

The idea for that ridiculous feather was from a very much older character of mine who used to have one in his hat. I missed the feather, so Saron gets to sport it this time. I hope to draw more today. There's two more characters I need to draw and then...possibly the comic itself?
